Driven by a passion for the Mediterranean “Art de Vivre”, Gérard Bertrand reveals the unique expression of the "Terroirs" of this region. The vineyard is located on the banks of the Etang de Thau, between the garrigue and the sea. The Mediterranean climate limits the daily temperature differences, the sea breeze limits the rise in temperature during the day, the water mass of the pond constitutes a thermal flywheel which slows down the drop in temperature at night.

This wine has a yellow colour with brilliant reflections. Its intense and complex nose reveals notes of white fruits, citrus fruits, honey and white flowers.
Ample and lively on the palate, it is very fresh.
This wine goes wonderfully with shellfish (Charentaise mouclade, stuffed clams) and crustaceans, but also with fish (fried eels, Sète rouille)...

Our family has a tradition of "Laundry Room wine". It is wine of a high caliber that we hide in the laundry room and only tell a select few about. Those who have a discerning appreciation for tasty wines! Blanc Gris quickly became a "laundry room wine' after my husband and I discovered it on our recent vacation to the Languedoc region of France. I brought it to share with my daughter and sister-in-law who greatly appreciated this addition to our Laundry Room Wine List

I can not find this wine locally, but the nearest Costco carries it around Christmas. I think it is the perfect summer wine. It is light and not very sweet; and the bottle is exquisite. I will order again before the summer is over, I am sure.
