      The controller is, within the meaning of Article 4 of the DPMR, the person who alone or jointly determines the purposes of each processing operation and the means of processing.

They are therefore frozen for a temporary period of time in cases where you exercise another right in parallel (e.g. to contest the accuracy of the data, to oppose the processing of its data, unlawfulness of the processing).
