Esprit de Cote des Roses was born from Gérard Bertrand's vision: to capture the very soul of the Mediterranean in a bottle. A unique blend of Pinot Noir, Grenache Noir and Chardonnay, marrying the freshness of the Pyrenean foothills with the sun-drenched generosity of the Cévennes.
The garrigue soils — hard limestone, schist and gravel — give the wine its distinctive mineral character. The hot, windy climate, tempered by altitude and sea breeze, preserves an irreplaceable aromatic freshness.
